Heisman Hopefuls

College football season is in full swing as of now. We have seen our fair share of upsets and nail biting games. As the winter months are ahead of us its time to start talking about the most prestige’s trophy in college football. The Heisman Trophy. When kids are little they dream about winning the Heisman some day, they practice their acceptance speech in front of the mirror, when they think nobody is watching. Last year the great Tim Tebow from the University of Florida won the trophy. He was well deserving of it. He worked hard, and he was just a all around good person. I think for someone to win the Heisman they should be more than just a good football player. They should get the grades, be a figure that kids in the community can look up to as a role model. Tim Tebow was all of those things. I am usually looking forward to the Heisman but this year I am just not that excited. Here are the Heisman hopefuls. http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/heisman

I personally think that Iowa's Shonne Greene is the Heisman dark horse. He has had the littlest to work with, but has done the most. I think if he can have a good game against Illinois and Penn State I'm sure you will be seeing him at the Heisman Presentation. This race shoudl good intresting. There has not been a guy that has really stood out to me week in and week out, but hopefully the next couple of weeks will change that.
